March 30, it was reported that according to the revelations of foreign game media Insider Gaming, Sony plans to introduce the “Trinity Enhanced” label on the PlayStation 5 Pro game console to indicate that the game can better utilize the performance of the PS5 Pro.
When Sony released the PlayStation 4 Pro game console, it introduced the “Pro Enhanced” label in its PlayStation ecosystem to indicate that the game can better utilize the performance of the PS4 Pro and provide higher game frame rates and visual effects.
In the PlayStation 5 Pro, Sony plans to further upgrade this label system. Due to the need for better performance in the following three aspects, it will be upgraded to “Trinity Enhanced”, with features including:
PSSR will increase the resolution to 4K.
Steady output of 60 FPS or more.
Add or increase ray tracing effects.
According to the revelations of the media, the PS5 Pro can achieve the above requirements mainly due to faster memory (speeding up by 28%) and a more powerful GPU (45% faster), which collectively allows the PS5 Pro to be 45% faster than the standard version and doubles the rendering speed.
The source also said that Sony’s PS5 Pro will also improve the CPU section, but the magnitude will not be as large as the GPU and memory. However, due to the Zen 2 CPU, the density will be higher, thereby reducing power consumption, improving cost-effectiveness, and reducing the size.
